By bringing my floor loom to Museums, Galleries, Parks and Streetcorners, I expose people to a practice which is unfamiliar to most, though they directly experience its product their entire lives. This is a beginning to a shift in perspective which could eventually demand a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process which make all the products we use, as well as an initial statement in a discourse I carry on with the public regarding cultural and personal connections to cloth.
