Sonic Tooth at the Treasure Island Music Festival!!

performing at the invitation of Triple Base Gallery, September 20th and 21st, 2008
we had this loom instrument I devised, with three guitar strings in the warp and a contact microphone going to Erin's mixing/effects units...
performing weaving, creating cloth and sounds and we even had band shirts!
this is the cloth with embedded bass guitar strings, after the weaving performance was over... this is Erin's equipment we used in the project...
here is a close-up of the amplified lute-loom in process!
